Primary Responsibilities and Specific Duties:
Monitors industry trends, anticipates implications and opportunities and collaborates with the CMO, Chief of Quality, Director of Clinical Outcomes and Patient Education team to develop, manage and communicate and educate regarding clinical quality initiatives including but not limited to HRSA requirements, HEDIS/Star program, PCMH, Uniform Data Sets, Meaningful Use and Grant requirements.
Reports to the Chief of Quality the auditing process for Data Outcomes including identifying trends and articulates current performance in specific areas/indicators. Benchmarks performance against clinical industry standards.
Prepares quality reports and studies and gives real time applicable advice/training and improvement recommendations as necessary to the CMO, Chief of Quality, Director of Clinical Outcomes and Patient Education to improve the patients' quality of care and close care gaps.
Participates on the Quality Improvement Committee (QIC).
In partnership with the QIC Committee, other departments and leaders, contributes to processes for performance improvement.
Participates in periodic mock surveys to assess accreditation preparedness.
Contributes to Quality Improvement Studies
Assists in preparation for AAAHC and HRSA reviews
Assists the Chief of Quality with review and interpretation of managed care/ACO regulations, analytics, and deployment tactics for population health management tool implementation and identifying action items.
Identifies opportunities for participating education, training and tool development as needed.
Responsible for delivery of scheduled reports from Corporate Reporting Catalog to appropriate designees related to ongoing Operational initiatives
Able to work effectively on projects with outside stakeholders and grant agencies
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and internal policies

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, information technology, or related field.
Proven working experience as a data analyst with the ability to plan work and meet deadlines. Prefer experience working in the areas of Quality, Data Outcomes, Process Improvement Projects, QI or QA activities within a healthcare entity preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
Ability to identify useful information in data sets and suggest conclusions that support decision making
Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques.
Expert with Microsoft Excel and various analytical tools.
Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills including spelling and grammar.
Statistical analysis skills for trending analysis and report.
Ability to communicate effectively with clinical as well as non-clinical staff
Communicate with a high degree of professionalism in both writing and speech; maintain professional demeanor and dress.
Maintain confidentiality of all clinical and corporate data.
Able to work flexible hours as needed.
Reliable transportation and current Florida Driver's license is required.
Travels to all CHC locations.
