Job Summary:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner functions as a collaborative member of the health are team in the delivery of outpatient psychiatric care including evaluation, monitoring, and diagnose patients to determine treatment and recovery plans. Counsel patients, write prescriptions, and monitor patients' progress, while being compassionate and sensitive to their needs and concerns. When appropriate, work with patients' primary physicians, social workers and/ or case managers to assist patients with their behavioral health needs.
