Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing patients for interaction with provider, assists with coordination of quality patient care, lab work, administering medications and immunizations, and performing routine clinical duties as directed by the provider.
Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the pharmacist in filling prescriptions, billing of prescriptions to third parties, collection of payments from patients and maintaining drug inventory.
This role is PRN - part time only.

This role also involves facilitating the orientation of senior dental students, supporting dental hygiene students, and assisting the Dental Training Specialist with the clinical onboarding of new hires. Additionally, the position provides clinical dental assisting training to dental assistant students.

This position will entail 8 24 hour call shifts per month at Advent Health Main (Rollins address).
